Dr. Tyler Slaydon
Dr. Tyler Slaydon earned his Doctorate of Chiropractic from Parker University in Dallas, Texas, graduating in April 2023. While at Parker, he was actively involved in both the Rehab 2 Performance club and the American Chiropractic Association Sports Council, where he focused on sports rehabilitation and effective treatment strategies for athletes.
Dr. Tyler has worked with athletes across all levels—from junior and collegiate competitors to amateurs and professionals. His experience includes providing care for PGA Tour Canada players, Olympic-level track and field athletes, and a wide range of collegiate sports teams. He is particularly passionate about integrating functional assessment and performance-based rehab into return-to-sport protocols. His certifications include Titleist Performance Institute Medical Level 2, Rocktape Functional Movement Taping (Basic and Advanced), Selective Functional Movement Assessment, and Functional Dry Needling. He also previously held certification as an Active Release Techniques (ART) Upper Extremity provider from April 2022 through March 2023.
Before pursuing chiropractic, Dr. Tyler completed his undergraduate studies at Lamar University, where he played Division I football and served as team captain during the 2018–2019 season. He was also a leader off the field, holding various student-athlete leadership roles on campus.
Dr. Tyler is a native of Bryan-College Station, Tx. He is happily married to his wife, Riley, and together they have a son, Ryder.
